Scrum.org

Scrum is a framework for managing software development. Test-Driven Development

Test-driven development (TDD) is a software development process that relies on the repetition of a very short development cycle: requirements are turned into very specific test cases, then the software is improved to pass the new tests, only. This is opposed to software development that allows software to be added that is not proven to meet requirements.

Test-Driven Requirements

BDD (behavior-driven development) combines practices from TDD and from ATDD.[27] It includes the practice of writing tests first, but focuses on tests which describe behavior, rather than tests which test a unit of implementation.

Amazon S3 is a web service offered by Amazon Web Services. Amazon S3 provides storage through web services interfaces.

DB2

IBM DB2 is a family of database server products developed by IBM. These products all support the relational model, but in recent years some products have been extended to support object-relational features and non-relational structures like JSON and XML.

Hadoop

Apache Hadoop is an open-source software framework used for distributed storage and processing of big data. Apache Hadoop utilizes the MapReduce programming model.

MongoDB

MongoDB is a free and open-source cross-platform document-oriented database. Electron

Electron is an open-source framework created by Cheng Zhao, and now developed by GitHub. It allows for the development of desktop GUI applications using front and back end components originally developed for web applications: Node.js runtime for the backend and Chromium for the frontend.

Google Web Tools is an open source set of tools that allows web developers to create and maintain complex JavaScript front-end applications in Java. Other than a few native libraries, everything is Java source that can be built on any supported platform with the included GWT Ant build files.

Hibernate ORM is an object-relational mapping framework for the Java language.

JSP

JavaServer Pages (JSP) is a technology that helps software developers create dynamically generated web pages based on HTML, XML, or other document types.

Ionic is a complete open-source SDK for hybrid mobile app development. Built on top of AngularJS and Apache Cordova, Ionic provides tools and services for developing hybrid mobile apps using Web technologies like CSS, HTML5, and Sass.

iOS

iOS (originally iPhone OS) is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple Inc. and distributed exclusively for Apple hardware.

DJango

Django is a free and open-source web framework, written in Python, which follows the model–view–controller (MVC) architectural pattern.

IIS

Internet Information Services (IIS, formerly Internet Information Server) is an extensible web server created by Microsoft for use with Windows NT family. IIS supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP and NNTP. It has been an integral part of the Windows NT family since Windows NT 4.0.

JBoss

WildFly, formerly known as JBoss AS, or simply JBoss, is an application server authored by JBoss, now developed by Red Hat. WildFly is written in Java, and implements the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) specification.

NodeJS

Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform runtime environment for developing server-side Web applications. Although Node.js is not a JavaScript framework, many of its basic modules are written in JavaScript, and developers can write new modules in JavaScript. The runtime environment interprets JavaScript using Google's V8 JavaScript engine.

Tomcat

Apache Tomcat, often referred to as Tomcat, is an open-source web server developed by the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). WebLogic

Oracle WebLogic Server is a Java EE application server currently developed by Oracle Corporation.

Websphere

IBM WebSphere refers to a brand of computer software products in the genre of enterprise software known as "application and integration middleware". These software products are used by end-users to create applications and integrate applications with other applications.

C

C is a general-purpose, imperative computer programming language, supporting structured programming, lexical variable scope and recursion, while a static type system prevents many unintended operations.

C#

C# is a multi-paradigm programming language encompassing strong typing, imperative, declarative, functional, generic, object-oriented (class-based), and component-oriented programming disciplines.

C++

C++ is a general-purpose programming language. It has imperative, object-oriented and generic programming features, while also providing facilities for low-level memory manipulation.

Gherkin

Gherkin is plain-text English (or one of 60+ other languages) with a little extra structure. Gherkin is designed to be easy to learn by non-programmers, yet structured enough to allow concise description of examples to illustrate business rules in most real-world domains.

Node.js

Node.js® is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient. Node.js' package ecosystem, npm, is the largest ecosystem of open source libraries in the world.

PHP

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as a general-purpose programming language.

Python

Python is a widely used high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability, and its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than possible in languages such as C++ or Java.

React.js

In computing, React (sometimes styled React.js or ReactJS) is a JavaScript library for building user interfaces.

React allows developers to create large web-applications that use data and can change over time without reloading the page. It aims primarily to provide speed, simplicity, and scalability. React processes only user interfaces in applications. This corresponds to View in the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern, and can be used in combination with other JavaScript libraries or frameworks in MVC, such as AngularJS.

Ruby

Ruby is a dynamic, reflective, object-oriented, general-purpose programming language.

SQL

SQL is a special-purpose programming language designed for managing data held in a relational database management system (RDBMS), or for stream processing in a relational data stream management system.

Behave

Behave is behaviour-driven development, Python style.

Cucumber

Cucumber is a software tool used by computer programmers for testing other software. It runs automated acceptance tests written in a behavior-driven development (BDD) style.

HPQC

HP Quality Center is Hewlett-Packard's software quality management product, part of the company's application lifecycle management (ALM) software suite. The product is available in entry-level and enterprise-level versions.

JBehave

JBehave is a framework for Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD). BDD is an evolution of test-driven development (TDD) and acceptance-test driven design, and is intended to make these practices more accessible and intuitive to newcomers and experts alike. It shifts the vocabulary from being test-based to behaviour-based, and positions itself as a design philosophy.

JMeter

Apache JMeter is an Apache project that can be used as a load testing tool for analyzing and measuring the performance of a variety of services, with a focus on web applications.

JUnit

JUnit is a unit testing framework for the Java programming language. JUnit has been important in the development of test-driven development, and is one of a family of unit testing frameworks which is collectively known as xUnit that originated with SUnit.

QUnit

QUnit is a JavaScript unit testing framework. While heavily used by the jQuery Project for testing jQuery, jQuery UI and jQuery Mobile, it is a generic framework to test any JavaScript code. It supports server-side (e.g. node.js) and client-side environments.

Robot Framework

The Robot Framework is a generic test automation framework for acceptance testing and acceptance test-driven development(ATDD). It is a keyword-driven testing framework that uses tabular test data syntax.

Selenium

Selenium is a portable software testing framework for web applications. Selenium provides a record/playback tool for authoring tests without learning a test scripting language (Selenium IDE). It also provides a test domain-specific language (Selenese) to write tests in a number of popular programming languages, including Java, C#, Groovy, Perl, PHP, Python and Ruby. The tests can then be run against most modern web browsers.

SoapUI

SoapUI is an open-source web service testing application for service-oriented architectures (SOA) and representational state transfers (REST). Its functionality covers web service inspection, invoking, development, simulation and mocking, functional testing, load and compliance testing.

SQL Audits

Structured Query Language (SQL) is commonly and widely used to verify data throughout the life cycle of applications. SQL is particularly useful in exploring the validity of data results during application testing.

xUnit

xUnit is the collective name for several unit testing frameworks that derive their structure and functionality from Smalltalk's SUnit. SUnit, designed by Kent Beck in 1998, was written in a highly structured object-oriented style, which lent easily to contemporary languages such as Java and C#.

AngularJS

HTML is great for declaring static documents, but it falters when we try to use it for declaring dynamic views in web-applications. AngularJS lets you extend HTML vocabulary for your application. The resulting environment is extraordinarily expressive, readable, and quick to develop.

Bootstrap

Bootstrap is a free and open-source front-end web framework for designing websites and web applications. It contains HTML- and CSS-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation and other interface components, as well as optional JavaScript extensions.

CSS

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language.

GWT

Google Web Toolkit, or GWT Web Toolkit, is an open source set of tools that allows web developers to create and maintain complex JavaScript front-end applications in Java.

HTML

HyperText Markup Language, commonly abbreviated as HTML, is the standard markup language used to create web pages. Along with CSS, and JavaScript, HTML is a cornerstone technology used to create web pages, as well as to create user interfaces for mobile and web applications.

JavaScript

JavaScript is a high-level, dynamic, untyped, and interpreted programming language.

jQuery

jQuery is a cross-platform JavaScript library designed to simplify the client-side scripting of HTML.

JSON

JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is an open-standard format that uses human-readable text to transmit data objects consisting of attribute–value pairs.

Knockout.js

Knockout is a standalone JavaScript implementation of the Model-View-ViewModel pattern with templates. The latter leverages the native event management features of the JavaScript language. These features streamline and simplify the specification of complex relationships between view components, which in turn make the display more responsive and the user experience richer. Knockout was developed and is maintained as an open source project by Steve Sanderson, a Microsoft employee.

ReactJS

React is an open-source JavaScript library providing a view for data rendered as HTML.

REST

REST stands for Representational State Transfer. RESTful Web services should be minimalistic and scalable.
